Selfie kit bag review
Followers of my blogs and my social media feeds will know that I’m not a great one for self promotion and certainly not for over-use of ‘selfies’. However, when offered to review and gifted a complete selfie kit in a bag I was tempted!
First impressions
My initial impressions when the complete selfie kit in a bag arrived were good!
The complete selfie kit
I was particularly taken by the stylish cotton bag that contained everything you would need to take really good and perhaps flattering selfies. Perhaps this isn’t surprising as the bag is made by the Cotton Bag Co based in Wiltshire, England.
The tote bag is very striking and stylish to look at and has lots of space for all those bits and bobs that you might want to take with you on a trip.
This jute bag is certainly very strong and roomy and even has a zip-up opening at the top so that you can keep your valuables safely in there.
I especially like the print pattern on the natural looking cotton material which has lots of eyes and prominent eyelashes in black, blue and orange. This is certainly an ….erm…. eye catching jute bag!
So what’s inside?
Inside I found a very natty little Selfie Ring Light.
This is easily charged with the short cable provided by plugging into a phone charger or power pack. It comes with a standard USB fitting.
I was surprised just how long it took to give this its initially charge. For me it was close to 36 hours which really surprised me.
Charging the clip on light ring
The light ring has a very useful spring loaded clip so that you can position the light ring to illuminate your face evenly especially when you attach the light to the top of your phone.
Selfie stick with remote control
There’s a neat selfie stick with integrated tripod included. Once I had purchased a new battery, having found the one supplied was flat, I was up and running!
This is bluetooth enabled which means that its really easy to use once paired with your phone.
Pop up light reflector with neat storage bag
If you prefer natural light to the light ring there is a pop up reflector included in the complete selfie kit in a bag.
This is one of those double sided ones with white on one side and silver on the other.
It too comes in its one neat zip bag attached to the inside of the selfie bag itself!
Pockets and storage
There are a couple of other inside pockets in the complete selfie kit in a bag.
One is big enough to take your phone. But in view of phone snatching it might be best to keep your phone in a safer place.
The other easily holds the selfie stick. It can quickly and easily be reached when that perfect selfie moment arrives!
The whole bag has an easily zipped top that ensures that nothing can fall out. And that everything is readily reached when needed.
